This sweet, waterfront engagement session was such a joy to capture! And what made it even sweeter, is that these two are going to be my cousins when I marry Frank!! When Erika and Mike got engaged, Frank’s parents gifted them a session with me (ask me about gift cards!) and we had so much fun!!We got to catch up, chat weddings and I got to hear all that they’re planning for their big day in March!

Planning their Waterfront Engagement Session

I love chatting with couples prior to scouting a location for their engagement session, so I can find a place that truly represents them! In most cases, I find that couples either choose a place that’s meaningful to them OR they’re ready for a brand new place to make memories! For Erika and Mike, the views of the Hudson River mean so much to them! They got engaged along the river, so I knew we had to plan the perfect waterfront engagement session for them!

For their session, we decided to head into the quaint lil town of Coldspring! We walked through town and stopped by some sweet shops before heading to a local patio bar! From there, they danced underneath the sunset and dipped their toes in the water! 

Their sweet waterfront engagement session was extra special for me and I loved getting to celebrate their engagement!
