Soak in that newly engaged bliss and spend so much quality time with your future Mr. or Mrs. If you are ready to start booking vendors, I got just the thing for you! Today I’m sharing how to select your wedding photographer in 3 simple steps!
How to Select Your Wedding Photographer
#1: Scout the ‘gram, Google + Pinterest for a style of photography you LOVE
Think bright and airy, warmer moodier tones, traditional, etc. To give you an idea, here are some different photography styles showcased below!
#2: Once you find a few that you love, go ahead and reach out!
A lot of photographers can be reached right on their Instagram or through their website’s contact page! Scouting their personal websites can start to give you a really good idea for whether or not this photographer will be a good fit for you. Read their “About” pages and their information pages. Before you even click Submit on their contact form, you’ll be able to get a sense if you two would mesh well together!
#3: Schedule a meeting (either virtual or in person) and see how it goes!
Can you imagine spending 8-10 hours with this person by your side? Have a conversation with the photographer! Do you connect with them on a personal as well as professional level? This is the guy/gal that will be standing alongside you throughout most of your wedding day, capturing one of the very best days of your life. There are SO many talented photographers out there but finding the one you truly CLICK with, makes all the difference.
Trust your gut, friends, you got this!
