This past March, I had the pleasure of visiting one of my favorite places – Paris. It’s been years since I’ve strolled the Champs – Élysées and ate pain au chocolat while sipping my morning cappuccino. It felt like a daydream to wake up in the city of love each morning and I’m mentally counting the days until I can be there once again. Paris is both nostalgic and modern in its charm. With deep history seeping from every building and museum, paralleled with high fashion and innovation at each of its store windows. I had always dreamed of planning a couples session in Paris and it was such a joy to bring it to life!

Every corner of the city inspires me. The architecture is stoic and proud, while simultaneously ornate and romantic. The twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower were a constant reminder that we were actually in this iconic city and had me squealing with delight every second I caught a glimpse of it. 

It felt too good to be true to be able to plan such a unique session while in Paris and I can’t wait to share it with you. For this trip, I wanted to plan a session that was paradoxically modern and nostalgic in nature. I incorporated wistful fashion elements like a blazer cape and silk scarf along with more contemporary features like a leather jacket to create the desired look. Documenting a bold and chic couple as they strolled through the Palais Royal was the vision for this session and I can’t wait to hear what you think!
