Head designer of Cara Cara and bride-to-be, Dana, celebrated her joyous bridal shower this spring at the Coveleigh Club in Rye. Dana’s bridal shower was such a unique celebration to capture because not only was her theme of Parisian Vintage Flower Market curated to perfection, but she designed the gown she wore to inspire the event!
The Over the Moon exclusive, Karene dress, was designed with cotton sateen and created to be a flirty and romantic dress for summertime soirees. Dana shared with Over the Moon, “The whimsical olive print really inspired the event, and it served as a perfect complement to the colorful florals. I just love the playfulness of the vines and quirky flowers in the print—so much so I incorporated it into the invite and had tablecloths made to match.”
The beauty of the dress’ unique elements could be seen in every hand-selected detail of the event. The tablecloths showcased the same floral pattern as Dana’s dress, while JH Mintz incorporated a similar style and pattern to the bridal shower invitations as well. The decor selections from Little Vintage Rentals also aided in the Parisian Flower Market thematic of the event and complimented the dress design!
Coveleigh Club served as the ideal location for Dana’s bridal shower, with its floor-to-ceiling windows. The sunshine effortlessly seeped into the room, filling it with warmth and joy for all of the guests. Along with this, Dana selected the Coveleigh Club for her bridal shower because it was the same venue her parents wed at years ago.
From the venue to the details, and the glowing bride-to-be, this was such a beautiful bridal shower to document at the Coveleigh Club. Peruse through some of my favorite images of this lovely day!
