Natasha and Will shared a beautifully intimate garden engagement session on the Upper East Side this summer and it was such a joy to capture it for them. Nestled in the darling Carl Schurz Park along the East River, we strolled through the gardens to catch its beauty in the early morning light. Originally from California, these two high school sweethearts moved to New York during college while attending Fordham University. Here, they live on the Upper East Side and enjoy the quaint neighborhood of brownstones, small gardens and the views of Long Island City. After being together almost 10 years, Will proposed to Natasha in their favorite place, which became the site for their engagement session with me. 

It was such an honor to capture these two and their love amidst the glowing morning light in one of their favorite gardens on the Upper East Side. It felt like capturing a true piece of their love story, one that centered on remembering how far they’ve come as a couple and all they love about their time in New York. Preparing to be wed back in their home state of California, I’m so grateful to have captured a piece of their New York love story at this intimate garden engagement session.
