Anna and Joe are such sweethearts and met years ago in middle school. MIDDLE SCHOOL! I’m a sucker for all romance but when my couples tell me they knew each other during the hilarity of puberty and braces, I get even more excited.

Though they met in middle school they didn’t start dating until a few years ago!

Ironically enough, when Anna and I first became friends – we were roommates in Florence, Italy! That’s right, we studied abroad together and the random acts of Marist College brought us together in one of the most beautiful countries. I still remember walking through Milan as Anna told me all about Joe. I couldn’t be happier then and I’m even happier for the two of them now.

This past February I hosted a few Valentine’s Day mini sessions, like the one’s I did for Andrea and Alex as well as Nick and Jeff! Since Joe is away at grad school, Anna and I agreed to postpone their mini session until he was home for spring break. And the results were amazing.

There’s not much I love more than traveling and sunrises. Though we didn’t travel too far for their session, we did manage to capture a GORGEOUS sunrise. These two are such troopers and woke up at the crack of dawn. We all piled into my car and headed to Croton Point Park for a morning of sweet kisses and beachfront cuddles. My jaw is dropping at these two and they were such a DREAM to work with. And it didn’t hurt that after our session, we rewarded ourselves by stuffing our faces at the diner 😉
