You know those work buddies you have at your job? The ones who sit next to you, chat with you during lunch and make you laugh through your day? Ya know, the ones who make your life a whole lot better and your job a whole lot easier?

Ya’ll, meet Alyssa and Jon. And last weekend, they were the BEST work buddies! Yes, us solo entrepreneurs have work buddies too 😉 These two won an engagement session giveaway I had posted about on my Instagram a few months back and I swear we were destined to meet each other!

Planning Our Session

We worked together to curate an amazing session that would represent their sweet, sometimes silly, and always supportive relationship. We chose to host their session at their wedding venue, Fort William Henry on Lake George, amongst the scenic mountains.Alyssa brought cute props that she wanted photographed and even incorporate a smaller version of her bridal bouquet! I packed up some bubbly and a picnic blanket and we were set!

Now ready for the fun part!

Within minutes of meeting these two, I could tell that Jon and Alyssa were a perfect pair. I still can’t get over how Jon asked Alyssa’s father for her hand in marriage when she was 19 years old. TWO years before he knelt down and popped the question. He knew from the start that Alyssa was the one for him and I admire that deeply.

Throughout the session we laughed, danced, splashed and toasted to their beautiful love and I can’t wait to share some of my favorites from the session!
