Photographing weddings will always be my first love but only because they make way for beautiful families like this one!! 

Caitlin reached out to me in October of last year and asked if I would be interested in photographing her family – like, her WHOLE family. I’m talking her husband and sweet little daughter, her parents, her siblings, their kids – the whole crew! When I got the email, I could not have been more excited. This was going to be so so special. 

We scheduled the session for right after Thanksgiving because her family was renting a house together and spending all weekend celebrating. When I pulled up to their Airbnb, I immediately felt warmth. Mind you, it was a 30 degree day…in the sun…but this family was full of hugs, love and all the warmth I needed. Not only were we able to take some great photos of the whole crew together, but I got to spend time with each individual family unit. 

And the only way I know how to properly share about this family is with individual notes for each of them!

Whitney, you are glowing. Both of you are going to make the sweetest parents and it was such an honor to capture this exciting time for you two!

I can’t wait to see how Mila and the new twins look up to all of you! You guys were a huge help during the session and I loved meeting you.
