Earlier this spring I had the most wonderful opportunity to capture Rachael and Blake for a pre-wedding session at the breathtaking Greystone Mansion. Perhaps most famously known for its appearance in movies, the Greystone Mansion has become a sought after location for destination weddings in Beverly Hills. With its lustrous European and Tudor-styled architecture, the Greystone Mansion has multiple facades and vistas that had me swept away in awe. I had dreamed of visiting this iconic location for years and it was so fulfilling to finally be there in person! Between its expansive views of Downtown Los Angeles, full gardens and alluring gardens, there were so many spots to photograph their love.
Drawing inspiration from the romantically feminine and ethereal nature of new beginnings in the springtime, we designed an editorial pre-wedding session for Rachael and Blake as they celebrate their engagement. As flowers budded into full bloom, we couldn’t help but see the connection between the arrival of the season and the expectant and exciting marriage they are preparing for.
We styled Rachael in an effortless Alon Livné gown with a tulle corset gown and intimate ruffle details along the neckline and sleeves. To complete her look, we added in Bella Belle’s beaded Florence shoes. Paired with a classic white jacket tux from Friar Tux for Blake, their ensemble was both quintessentially beautiful and fitting for the vast location in Beverly Hills.
