It’s hard not to fall in love upon entering Balboa Park, a luscious and architectural haven in the midst of San Diego’s urban center. Balboa Park exudes inspiration deriving from Spanish and Mediterranean Colonial design and is the idyllic backdrop for a dreamy pre-wedding session in Southern California. Boasting elaborate palm-filled gardens, cyclical archways, and dripping in golden sunlight, Balboa Park was a dream location for Jen and Ryan’s session. 

Recently engaged, Jen and Ryan celebrated their love with an intimate pre-wedding session at Balboa Park just before sunset. As the sun dipped below the peach-toned historical buildings, we captured their love. The sweet nature that these two have with each other fueled the inspiration for each and every image. Ryan’s stoic nature balanced Jen’s gracefulness in a way that seemed to offer strength and resilience to their relationship. It was a true honor to capture their stunning pre-wedding session in Balboa Park.
