I first met Deandra in college when we were both commiserating over some Media Studies class. Looking back now, it’s ironic that both of our careers dive into media studies extensively, who would’ve thought?

Since then, Deandra, aka Dee, and I have stayed in touch through the years and it has been AMAZING to see all that this girl has accomplished in the few short years since graduating, which brings me to the reason for our New York styled portrait session.

Dee is celebrating her one year anniversary as a LIKEtoKNOW.it blogger and influencer. Her dedication is inspiring and her presence as an influencer only continues to grow. To provide a bit more context, LIKEtoKNOW.it is a social based shopping service that allows consumers to purchase what they see influencers posting on Instagram. Currently LIKEtokNOW.it features four accounts with each honing in on personal style, interior design, families, and European style, respectively.

Dee is the proud creator of The Socially Styled and features fashion, lifestyle, and travel through her posts and I was thrilled to collaborate with her in preparation for her post on Holiday Budget Planning. Not only were we able to snap stunning pictures that added to her repertoire of images, but we were able to spend quality time catching up! It was such a special treat and I can’t wait to collaborate with her again soon!
