Gabe and Kaylyn’s engagement session was truly what dreams are made of. These two met while in college in California and have spent so much of their relationship traveling together! Gabe even popped the question while they were hiking through Banff National Park in Alberta. (I mean, give me all the heart eyes, right?!)
When they traveled to the East Coast for the holidays, I knew we had to plan a special adventure inspired engagement session to match their traveling spirits! (Head here to read about how to plan the engagement session of your dreams!)
We headed to the Constitution Marsh and Audubon Sanctuary in Garrison, New York and hiked to see the sweeping mountainous views! The mazed pathways along the marsh made for some fun and creative poses. And I completely geeked out at the beautiful symmetry of nature in these photos. From there, we headed to Indian Brook Falls and caught glimpses of icicles that had frozen on the waterfall.
These two were SUCH naturals in front of the camera. I love when I catch my couples interacting with each other during the poses I guide them through. Every exchange of, “I love you,” and whisper of, “I’m so excited for this,” makes my heart flutter. And even more than that, creates beautiful and authentic portraits.
I couldn’t be more excited to capture their New England Connecticut wedding in May! Till then, I’ll just be ogling over all of the magic we created in their adventure inspired engagement session last Friday!
