The first time Ryan laid eyes on Michelle, it was during their New York Police Academy training program and Michelle told him to “fall in line.” Listening to these two recount moments from their relationship was such a treat. Years ago, Michelle and I played soccer together back in high school. She was one of the best, more fearless goalies I’ve had the pleasure of playing with. Now, year’s later, engaged, and a member of the NYPD, it was a true joy to reconnect.
Both Michelle and Ryan serve in the New York Police Department, so it was only fitting that we chose an iconic location for the two of them: DUMBO, Brooklyn. We opted for a morning session and captured their love amongst the cobblestone streets of Brooklyn. And ya’ll know me, I’m alwayyss down for a morning sesh! The streets were still quiet AND it wasn’t too hot out yet!
We started at the cafe, One Girl Cookies, chatted over coffee and event snagged some adorable shots of them inside! From there, we walked past the Time Out Market with their sweet lil pups and grabbed some amazinggg shots on Pebble Beach! If ya caught their sneak peak on Instagram last week, you know I loved meeting their two dogs! I was so excited when Michelle texted me the night before our session asking to bring them. PSA for all future clients, the answer is always YES! We ended our session by taking some photos right on the East River Ferry dockside where we couldn’t help by show some NYPD love with their shirts!
I couldn’t be happier for you, Michelle and Ryan. Can’t wait for you two to tie the knot next year!!
