Sharing a little behind the scenes of FDP today and some photos that Frank and I had taken by my sweet friend, Mindy Briar.
So often I hear how photographers hate being on the other side of the camera.
Can I let you in on a little secret? I’m not that kind of photographer.
The sweetest part of being a photographer is having all of life’s moments captured. It is so rewarding for me to capture your engagements, your weddings and watching as your families grow; to create art for you that you’ll treasure for years and years to come.
In turn, I love having all of those moments captured for me, too!
Frank and I have known each other for 9 years (I just cringed doing that math…yikes!) I can’t believe it’s been that long!! We met while in Driver’s Ed and he took me to his senior prom! After way too much friend-zoning, and me not admitting that I’ve loved him from day 1 🙈, we started dating 5 years later. It was back in high school that I first told Frank I wanted to be a professional photographer one day and truthfully, he never let me forget my dream. For that, I’m forever grateful and owe so much of how far I’ve come to him.
And I am so grateful that Frank is such a good sport because I’m always dragging him to have pictures done with me! This session was extra fun because we got to swap some winter photos with Mindy Briar and her husband! (Check out their featured blog here!)
